C418 - Vinyl Cover

The challenge of this project was to create a cohesive vinyl cover design, linear notes, and an additional component that helps expand the listening experience beyond the music itself. Using the artist C418’s music, I created a brightly colorful and blocky design that gives a sense of comfort and nostalgia to reflect peoples’ time playing the video game Minecraft. The outside and inside of the vinyl cover represent the daytime and night time cycle of the game. Both giving off relaxing colors that are both bright and darker. The notecards are in every one of C418’s vinyls. They give a code that you can use to download his music to any device for free.
